Prerequisite: Students must be full-time, commissioned peace officers, reserve officers or deputies, or employees acting under the umbrella of a law enforcement agency. Please contact Public Safety Alliance if you have questions. Please note the special hours of the course (1300-2100). Students must bring to class: Camera with Manual Mode settings (DSLR preferred), replacement battery or charger, camera tripod, and flashlight, (external flash is not required but recommended).
Course Description: Investigations, Police, Probation, Corrections and Deputies will greatly improve their skills to control and use light. This one-of-a-kind course features almost exclusively a hands-on approach to training in a nighttime environment. Students have fun moving from exercise to exercise, working through the trained concepts individually and as groups, all the while picking up quick-tips and building on the last objective. Students work almost exclusively in Manual Mode of your camera requiring mastery of the triangle of light. Learn everything you need to know, so you can master the night!
