Prerequisite:
Students must be full-time, commissioned peace officers,
reserve, or act under the umbrella of a law enforcement
agency.
Course Description: This course is specifically designed for Corrections, Police and Arson Investigators who perform short, concise, interviews. Whether you are working to find criminal activity in a white collar investigation or looking for truthfulness during a non-accusatory interview, this course has what you need. Through scenario-based training and student-led exercises, students hone their skills during hands-on sessions. Modules include; Nick's 4-Minute Interview©, Consensual Encounters, Verbal Communication, Non-Verbal Cues and Indicators, and much more. Don't miss your opportunity!
Who Should Attend: Patrol Officers and Deputies, Detectives, and Agents
Instructors: Your instructor, Nick Ramos, leads the charge into the world of speedy communication with his dedication to learning and enthusiastic presentation style. Nick retired as a Sergeant and K9 handler for the New Mexico State Police and brings with him over 20 years of federal, state, and tribal, law enforcement experience where he honed his quick interview skills during cold contacts resulting in hundreds of significant arrests and seizures. He remains an active law enforcement officer as a Reserve Deputy for the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office. Nick has provided training nationally, since the early 90's and holds both a General and Master Instructor certification. His presentations are sought out and premiere at such events as; CNOA, CNCA, HIDTA, Sheriff's & Chiefs of Police, Narcotic Associations and BSCC, Standards & Training for Corrections.

Dress Code: Comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes are recommended to allow for participation in many physical training exercises.
